A lot has changed in the last year. Much to my delight, the biggest surprise was the appearance of Elon Musk as the head of a cost-cutting department (DOGE). While DOGE didn't achieve all of it's goals, it did a lot. And now Elon has decided to agree with my position and call for the establishment of a 3rd political party.
I have devised a plan on how to form that 3rd political party which I will describe below. My hope is to get this plan in front of Elon Musk.
STEPS TO A VIABLE 3RD PARTY
1. Find a well-known person with no political ambitions who wants to start a 3rd political party solely for the benefit and perhaps the saving of the USA. Elon Musk has called for a 3rd party and is the perfect person for the job.
2. Write up a list of common sense goals that most Americans want and make this the party platform. It would include things like national defense, law and order, non-violence, personal freedom, balanced budgets and effective welfare.
3. Announce to the public the formation of a new political party which has NO interest in winning the presidency or gaining a majority in Congress. A party whose only goal is to have enough power to force the two major parties to negotiate in good faith. A party whose goal is to get America operating in the way it was meant to.
4. Set up a website that explains the goals and methods of the new party and then assists new members in changing their voter registration. This would let new members know:
A. That a willingness to vote as a block is the mainstay of the new party's power. Because of this, they will be asked to vote as a block in certain congressional races. Not in the presidential race.
B. That the aim of the new party is to sign up 10 to 20% of registered voters in each state,
about half Democrat and half Republican, with the first act of cooperation being an agreement to block voting in the party.
C. That the strategy of the new party is to go to both big parties in each state and get them to understand that if they do not cooperate in delivering of the congressional seats in that state that the voter registration justifies, then the new party would make them suffer a complete loss at the polls. If both parties refuse to cooperate, the new
party would vote to flip every seat in the state.
D. That all negotiations will be transparent and each congressional district would choose their potential congressional candidate if their district is chosen to receive one of the party's new congressional seats.
5. Assemble a tough negotiating team with deep expertise in state election laws.
In closing, I would suggest that the new party run a presidential candidate for the sole
purpose of explaining the intentions of the new party. Let's get America working in a
constructive way again.

Saving America
The 3rd Party Solution

America is in political chaos. It has two evenly balanced political parties that spend all their energy fighting each other for power. To make matters worse, both parties have had to attract the more extreme elements of their parties in order to keep their power.
The only speedy solution to this mess is the appearance of a third political party with about 10% of the votes in Congress(one representative per state). The only real power this new party would have would be to force the two big parties to the bargaining table. In this scenario, the small party can force the two big parties to negotiate centrist policies for the country. These centrist policies would bring America together again. One small party with only limited voting power could save America.
The big question is how to start a viable third party. There has not been one in living memory. A viable party needs 10% of the votes in Congress and this is not an easy feat. However, today America has a person who could complete this task. This person impressed us with PayPal, got our attention with Tesla, stunned us with SpaceX and drew our admiration in cleaning up Twitter. This person is Elon Musk. All he needs to do is :
1. Write up a plan for running America
2. Give this plan a name.
3. Give this new party an internet platform on which regular folks could network and join the new
movement.
From that point, Mr Musk would only be involved when the plan needed tweaking. The work for this party would have to be totally grass roots. People coming together because they are so disappointed in the two big parties. These amateur politicians could bring America together again.
So I am asking everyone to get onto their social media platforms and join me in saying:

Dear young Americans, October 2019
I have some bad news for you. The quality of your future is being degraded everyday by two massive problems; the exploding national debt and the burning of fuels to make energy.
The national debt has risen by almost 3 billion dollars a day for the last 10 years. This debt is the current leaders’ spending the money of those to follow. It is theft from the future. When the government runs out of money, everyone will suffer.
Burning all fuels, especially fossil fuels, is ruining our planet. The air is already polluted and the climate is changing rapidly. On top of all this, we are wasting one of the earth’s most precious things: oil. Common sense says it’s time to stop the burning. The stakes are too high not to act! If nothing is done, and done soon, these problems will turn into catastrophes.
As if this wasn’t bad enough, both political parties are today dominated by their extreme elements. The Republicans can only think about money and guns and making as much money as possible no matter what the cost to the environment. The Democrats have fallen for the fantasy of socialism. Socialism is the “snake oil” of politics. It promises everything for everyone and claims that it is totally affordable. History tells us that this is a lie. Socialism would bankrupt the country very quickly.
I do have some good news for you. Right now is a unique time in U.S. history in which a united third political Party with as little as 10% of the votes in Congress could hold sway over which policies get passed. That is just one seat per state. A united third party that puts up fresh young candidates with real and affordable solutions to the country’s problems would attract millions of disillusioned Democrats and Republicans. This third party would be able to grab the political power necessary to change the course of your future.
My generation changed the course of government in the 1960’s and ’70’s by taking to the streets. Your generation can change the course of government in a more high tech way by using social media to attract the votes you need. It will require hard work and bravery to stand up to those powerful people and organizations that now run our country, but it can be done.
In order to help jump start this movement, I have put together an outline of a model third party (You can view it at achievewinwin.com). It is designed to be a centrist party that solves the problems of debt and burning, while increasing the safety and quality of life. I urge you to use these ideas and your own ideas in order to write a new platform for a third party. It is critical that the third party be fully united behind a platform that is clearly written.
I hope this letter makes you mad. I hope you are angry enough to create this new political party and to fight for your future. I hope you can rouse this same anger amongst your peers so that they bring their votes to this new party. You must fight these old political powers to save your future. Be bold. Be fearless.

Using Technology to Save the Future
Basic Duties
1.To protect the country, its citizens and its allies from any violence or threats of violence against them or their property.
2.To protect the environment and promote a healthy planet.
3.To protect the economy and the infrastructure of the country.
4.To protect minors, those under 18 years of age, in order to protect the future of the country.
TEK PARTY PLATFORM POSITIONS
ABORTION
The intertwining of two distinct beings make abortion an issue with no clear-cut policy. This issue is as important as segregation and discrimination and therefore needs a national policy in law. The CEN-TECH
solution is to have a national referendum that would only be open to adult, biological female citizens. Since they are the ones intimately involved, it should the their decision. The issue could be voted on again every 2 to 4 years until a final consensus in reached.
AFFORDABLE HOUSING 02/2026
Too many houses are owned by too few people. To change this, an annual tax of 10 to 20% of market value would be placed on any owner of more than two homes. Corporations would report on their 1099's the number of homes or parts thereof and the market value for each shareholder.
AFFORDABLE SOLUTIONS
Affordable solutions are the center of the CEN-TECH party goals. Any solution that is not affordable is NOT a solution. Most increases in government debt are simply the older generation telling the younger generation that they will have pay for the things that their elders could not afford, plus interest!
BIOMETRIC IDENTIFICATION
Biometric I.D.’s (BID) are an absolute necessity to maintain law and order. This technology allows all governments and businesses to know exactly with whom they are dealing. This technology will require an expansive database to be set up so that an identification can be made very quickly. There will be no way to hide one’s identity. It is important that this database be built and operated by one of America’s top search engine providers. There must obviously be government oversight, but let the pros do the job.
BLACK LIVES MATTER
The best way to protect them is threefold:
1. Re-direct the war on drugs to cover only minors, thus reducing police confrontations and the appeal of joining a gang or cartel.
2. Camers on every police officer and squad car at all times.
3. Removing Police unions from the process of disciplining and dismissing police officers.
CAMERAS
The camera is the most important piece of technology that a government must use to enforce the laws and ensure justice. We have seen repeatedly in recent years that cameras tell us the truth much more than eye witnesses. A CEN-TECH government would require audio and visual cameras on all all law enforcement and their vehicles. It would encourage all citizens to install cameras on their home, businesses and vehicles. The more footage available on a public incident would greatly facilitate the enforcement of law and the delivery of true justice. Cameras and BID’s are the technological tools that will ensure law and order in the new tech-age.
For those worried about “Big Brother,” these cameras will only be used in public places. People’s private lives can only be looked at with a court order.
CAPITALISM
Capitalism is the key to the success of the U.S.A. It motivates people to work hard to achieve success. This is what makes America successful. Capitalism does need controls. The government must ensure that true competition exists in all markets. The government must ensure that no large company be allowed to gouge the American public.
It should be noted that “socialist” China had to introduce capitalism into its socialist system in order to achieve its present success.
DEBT
Debt for government is different from individual debt. Government must meet its responsibilities. Government cannot go bankrupt. Furthermore government debt is simply the older generation telling the younger generation(s) to pay their bills.
Debt affects every program that the government pursues because the rising debt and interest payments rob all programs of their funding. The two existing political parties have failed to curb the National Debt because they are unwilling to address the big issues in America. The reason they have done nothing is political expediency. They are more interested in getting elected and reelected than doing what is necessary to keep America on track. The CEN-TECH party is just the opposite. Fixing America is much more important than winning elections.
DRUGS
The biggest waste of money in the U.S.A. today is the “war on drugs.” This return to the failed policy of government prohibition has given America a huge debt. It has also fueled the rise of gangs, just as it did the the 1920’s. These gangs fight on our streets for control of the drug business. They frequently shoot each other which uses up police and medical time and endangers innocent bystanders. Then all the perps must stand trial and the the guilty ones must be incarcerated. This costs a tremendous amount of money and has been a failure at controlling drugs.
This “war” has caused even more havoc in the countries south of the U.S.A. The cartels have so much money that the governments cannot control them. One hundred people running for office were murdered in the last Mexican election, mostly by the cartels. This chaos is fueling the surge in immigrants to our southern border.
This “war” also drives people to take drugs of unknown quality or strength. The number of accidental overdoses in America today is intolerable.
Prohibition must be restricted to only minors. Under this plan manufacturers and sellers would need licenses from the government. Each retail sale would require a BID from the buyer. Each sale would be recorded on a database. Fairly steep taxes could then be added to all recreational drugs (including alcohol and tobacco).
In this new system, recreational drugs are finally controlled. People will know the strength of the drug they are taking. Drug takers would be reminded, every time that they make a purchase, about the dangers of drugs. They would also have access to inexpensive group therapy through the welfare system. Because each sale would be recorded, no individual would be allowed to purchase more than enough for personal use. Drug makers would also have the opportunity to develop less harmful recreational drugs.
Gangs will no longer be able to recruit new members when the easy money dries up. The cartels will no longer be able to terrorize whole countries. Peace will return to our cities as the turf wars will come to an end.
On top of all of these good things, the government will be left with a good, regular income and surplus money and manpower. These assets will be needed to re-construct the failing welfare system.
Re-directing the war on drugs, alcohol and tobacco to cover only minors is a war that can be won.
The CEN-TECH plan to protect minors is to reassign the officers from the “war on drugs” to high schools and middle schools. These officers would not only protect the kids, they would become mentors. They would become counselors who would know their students. They would be able to really get bullying out of our schools. They would be able to identify troubled kids and start a dialogue with them. They would soon know which students were using drugs and alcohol and could take steps to stop it. Protecting these kids is the key to the future and we must spend our money on this rather than trying to chase down adults with bad habits. Keeping kids off drugs and alcohol is the best way to have fewer adults with such problems. This change in policy will save tens of thousands of lives each year.
ECONOMY AND ECONOMIC WEAPONS
Keeping a strong economy is fundamentally important to maintaining a healthy country. The American economy, through the use of controlled capitalism, has powered the U.S.A. to be the most powerful country on earth. It is critical to keep a healthy economy and that is why the CEN-TECH party is so focused on the National Debt.
The economic weapon is America’s best weapon. This is how the USSR was defeated. This is how the gangs and cartels will be defeated. Economic sanctions are a bloodless and effective way to protect our interests around the world. Tariffs are just one kind of economic sanctions. America must use this most powerful economic weapon to achieve both its economic and political objectives.
EDUCATION
The federal government can easily supply a college education to everyone in America using the internet.
The on-line college does allow students to get a low cost college degree. It also allows students to get the basics done cheaply before moving on to a full university. The most important thing that the on-line university does NOT provide is the interpersonal relationships and socialization development that traditional schools provide.
ENVIRONMENT
The quality of the environment is one of the four primary duties of government. The CEN-TECH party is particularly focused on the ending of burning fuels and the control of plastics.
FEAR
Fear is an essential survival tool for all animals. Politicians have turned fear into their primary tool for getting votes because it is such an important emotion in humans. But when fear overcomes reason, progress comes to a halt. If George Washington had let fear stop him, the U.S.A. would probably not exist. If the men and women of WWII had let their fear stop them, where would we be today? The CEN-TECH party needs be bold and fearless to overcome the problems faced by America today.
FOSSIL FUELS
Burning, and in particular the burning of fossil fuels, has already greatly degraded the quality of air on earth. It also seems quite probable that burning is also causing rapid climate change. And finally, the wholesale burning fossil fuels is a colossal waste of one of the most precious things on earth, oil. To continue wasting these fuels when viable alternatives exist would be a crime against future Americans.
Therefore, the CEN-TECH party proposes an immediate change from fossil fuels to hydro, solar, wind and nuclear power generation. This is a huge change, but it can be done. In fact it is just a two step process.
1. The first step is to legislate that all new cars and small trucks sold in America must be fully electric by 2035. The automotive industry can easily meet this deadline. The biggest problem facing this change-over is the shortage of materials to make batteries. The government must immediately start securing the production of these materials and stockpiling them.
2. Step two is to legislate that all power production must be hydro, solar, wind and nuclear by 2035. This deadline will be hard to meet mainly because of the fear that Americans have of nuclear power. Siting of the new nuclear power plants will be very difficult. The CEN-TECH plan is for the federal government to team up with America’s largest oil, gas and coal companies to bring about this change. These large companies would be needed to build the new nuclear power generating plants and the infrastructure needed to deliver that power. The oil companies would also need to change gas stations into electric charging and exchange stations. This alliance is crucial to the orderly change from one fuel source to another. These companies also have media power that can tip the balance of public opinion. These companies would need the full support of the government in securing sites for the new plants. There will be huge opposition amongst the population because of fear.
This alliance will have to get out the truth about nuclear power. This alliance must tell the story of France, one of the world’s most beautiful places, where they have 80% of their power from nuclear. France burns virtually nothing for power.
In addition to producing clean nuclear power, this alliance must also create a vast reserve of oil in the ground. Oil is and always will be a precious and vital natural resource. It is vital to the security of the U.S.A. This new oil reserve might not be needed for a thousand years or more, but it is vital to national defense and to national strength through the centuries.
This plan is the only way to achieve such a drastic change in such a short period of time using existing technology. There is really no choice. The stakes are too high not to ACT now.
FREEDOMS
There are different levels of freedom for adults and minors. Extra rules for minors are already in place and more can be added at any time in order fulfill the government’s duty to protect minors.
Adults have two types of freedom: pubic and private. There is a long list of things that are not allowed in public. This list includes intoxication, nudity, sex and others. For adults, in private, there should really only be one rule: no violence or threats of violence against any person or their property. This greater level of freedom is needed because every time a government enacts limits on freedom, these prohibitions lead to the rise of a black market and the gangs and cartels that operate it.
Freedom is the cornerstone of America. It should be expanded as far as possible while still keeping the neighborhoods safe and quiet.
GUNS
The right to bear arms is in the U.S. Constitution. It is clear that it is necessary to keep track of dangerous weapons. The CEN-TECH plan would involve establishing a new web site for gun ownership. Much like changing the ownership of an automobile, all changes in ownership would be required to be recorded quickly. In this new web site, buyers would have to pre-register. This pre-registration would require a background check. Once approved, the person would get a pin number and be able to purchase a gun anywhere in the country. This registration process would be required for every gun transfer of any kind. This web site would also allow law enforcement or medical doctors to, at least temporarily, suspend an individual’s right to buy arms.
The question of larger weapons like assault rifles is tough. It is always hard to draw a line. America had a ban on assault rifles for 20 years, and it seems no one was denied the right to bear arms. But today there are some 15 million assault rifles already out in the public arena. The best plan may be to require all owners of such weapons to get special training.
HEALTHCARE
Firstly, Obamacare was not a solution. Remember, any solution that drives up debt is not a solution. Besides being too expensive, the $7000 per person per year deductible on most of the subsidized policies made them too expensive to use by the average person. Finally, the purchase mandate was basically declared un-constitutional. As a footnote to this, the call by some for Medicare For All is simply ludicrous. Just as it is, Medicare is due to run out of money in year 2026!
The CEN-TECH plan reflects the need to supply free or low-cost health care to the less wealthy while preserving America’s private healthcare institutions. It is also important to let these healthcare institutions compete freely across state lines. More competition means lower prices.
The CEN-TECH solution is Free Clinics. These walk-in, no-appointment offices would treat and diagnose all minor health problems. This would include group therapy. Emergencies would continue to be taken to Emergency /Trauma Hospitals. These Free Clinics would not be that expensive to operate on a 24/7 basis. The cost to the patient would be calculated according to how much a patient earns and how much money they possess (sliding scale system).
In order to make this operation simple and inexpensive, each patient would be required to have a BID in the new Free Clinic database. The BID would also allow the medical staff at every Free Clinic to immediately identify the person and see what previous treatments they may have received. There would be no need for insurance cards or paperwork of any kind.
In addition to the inconvenience inherent in the Free Clinic (no appointments), there would also be well defined limits on the kinds of treatment available. Many expensive drugs and treatments would not be available. It is critical that government subsidized healthcare offer less than private healthcare in order to keep the private market financially healthy.
It will be be expensive to build these facilities and the database. However, they will be relatively inexpensive to run thereafter. The money and manpower to do these things is already available. Unfortunately this money and manpower is tied up fighting the “war on drugs.” The CEN-TECH party wants to use these resources for a better purpose. In fact, Free Clinics may in fact help with the drug addiction problem. These Free Clinics would give the poor population a chance to treat ailments early on, thus reducing more serious problems later in life. Ending the war on drugs will also reduce the need to treat the victims of that war. America can trade a failed war for free healthcare. It is a win-win of gigantic proportions.
IMMIGRATION
One of the biggest wastes of money for the government is dealing with illegal immigration. Once again America’s laws create an unending and costly problem. The CEN-TECH solution is straight forward.
The first step is to require all asylum seekers to apply at a foreign United States Embassy. The staff and embassies would be enlarged so that they would be able to investigate and rule on these applications in a reasonable amount of time.
The second step is to return all undocumented people trying to cross the U.S. border to their home countries immediately, with no hearing whatsoever. All undocumented minors would be returned to their home countries and taken to U.S. financed orphanages where they would be cared for until they reach 18 years or until their relatives came for them.
The third step is to offer all undocumented people living in America an opportunity to become legal resident aliens, with all the rights of citizenship, except the vote. These people would acquire passports from their home embassy and bring them to a registration center to get their resident alien status identification. These centers would record BID for each person and enter the information into a dedicated database. This resident alien status would have a 10 year probation period, during which people convicted of serious crimes could be easily deported. After 10 years these resident aliens can apply for citizenship. This reorganization will cost a large sum for the creation of the new database, but once it is up and running it will greatly reduce our expenditures. And while it will cost a lot to enlarge and operate U.S. embassies, it will save far more in domestic court time. The overall savings will be enormous.
The fourth step is to take whatever legal steps necessary to overturn the “anchor baby” policy. It makes no sense in modern times.
This solution for the immigration problem brings peace of mind to the people that are in America and makes clear to those outside of America that they will no longer be able to enter without proper papers. This new BID data base make it easier to admit seasonal workers and ensure that they return home. This system allows government to control immigration and bring in people with needed skills. Because the birthrate in America will not sustain population numbers, the government will also be able to control the total population in the U.S. The CEN-TECH party supports the idea of maintaining population at its current level in order to preserve the quality of live in America.
JUSTICE
The video camera has already improved justice across America. The CEN-TECH plan is to have cameras on all law enforcement and their vehicles. The plan also urges all citizens to have cameras on their homes, businesses and vehicles. With so many cameras in place it will be far easier to identify wrongdoers and this will improve the level of justice in America immensely.
LABOR
Labor is critical to America. It is the men and women who provide the goods and services that keep America running. In order to protect labor and CEN-TECH party would come down hard on those hiring illegal labor.
LOBBYISTS
Lobbyists and their cash definitely affect the course of American governance. The CEN-TECH plan is to listen to their ideas but refuse their cash.
MARRIAGE
Marriage, on the government level, is simply a legal partnership between two people that stipulates the social and economic responsibilities of both parties. Any two people can enter into this agreement.
MEDICARE
Medicare is projected to go broke in 2026. What this means is that the government will pick up the tab and this will increase government debt exponentially. Medicare is a government-backed health insurance program that was designed in 1965 for people over 65 years. The average life span is now 10 years longer than when the plan was first put into place and the cost of health care is 10 times greater. Because workers and employers paid 1.45% of their wages into Medicare, their health insurance must maintained regardless of cost. Just as with the rest of health care there is no easy solution for the situation. Payroll rates and premiums could be raised some to reflect higher medical costs. These raises could only be modest because they raise labor costs for businesses. The biggest possible savings at this time would be on prescription drugs and medical devices. Medicare should immediately negotiate the lowest prices in the world for all generic drugs. At the same time they must stop buying high-priced medical devices and non-generic drugs. This is only a start to a solution for Medicare. More will need to be done.
MILITARY-DEFENSE
National security is the most important responsibility of government. Keeping the military strong must be a top priority. It is especially important to keep ahead of the technological arms race. America’s enemies are constantly looking for new weapons to use on the ground, in inner space and on computers. This is the reason that espionage is so important. America must know on what its enemies are working.
The CEN-TECH party believes that ground troops should rarely be used. America can supply massive air support to any ally who is attacked. Ground troops would only be deployed after our allies are already fully engaged in war. America still needs troops stationed around the globe in order to ensure a quick response if necessary.
The most useful defense weapon is the economic weapon. America’s huge economic might give it the ability to punish wrong-doers with little cost to the U.S.A. Defense will always be expensive, but necessary. It is important for the U.S.A. to avoid using hugely expensive ground troops and use the money to further improve the technology of all its weapons and equipment.
MINIMUM WAGE
The CEN-TECH party would move to quickly move the federal minimum wage to $10/hour (tips could be included in this figure). This pay rate is based on the most affordable areas of the country. The government would urge a higher minimum wage in high cost areas. It makes no sense to have large numbers of working people who still need welfare.
MINORS
Minors are those people under 18 years of age. The government has a responsibility to protect and nurture these future adults. Minors have limited freedoms. Minors are subject to supervision by both their parents and government agencies.
The CEN-TECH party’s plan is to protect students more than ever before.The extra police manpower left free by the ending of the “war on drugs” will be retrained and reassigned to America’s middle and high schools. These officers would be armed, not only with firearms, but also with training in mentoring and child psychology. These officers would become part of the school community and as such would be in a much better position to control bullying and identify those using drugs and alcohol. It is very important to control theses destructive behaviors in the young because their brains are not fully developed. It has been clearly shown that kids with problems become adults with problems. This new level of protection will give kids a better chance of being happy and sensible adults.
NUCLEAR POWER
Nuclear power generation is the only technology available today that is capable of quickly replacing all the fuel burning power plants. Nuclear technology has been around for a long time. The U.S. launched its first nuclear submarine in 1954. There are over 450 nuclear plants in the world today. Another 60 are under construction. The only reason the U.S.A. is not building nuclear plants is because of widespread public fear of the technology. The CEN-TECH party believes that America must push past its fear and pursue this technology aggressively. The stakes are too high not to act. The CEN-TECH party believes that the government must team up with Big Energy to build a network of modern nuclear plants to supply all the energy America needs.
PHARMA
Big Pharma is the group of large U.S. companies that make drugs. The law has given Big Pharma a monopoly on new drugs for a set period of time, during which it can charge what it pleases. After this set period, the drugs become generic and are open to full competition the market. However, due to sweetheart deals between Big Pharma and the government, generic drug prices in the U.S. are often up to 10 times more than in Canada. Several states are currently suing Big Pharma to end this outrage. Big Pharma will benefit from the new markets created by the legalization of recreational drugs. The CEN-TECH party wants to put Big Pharma on notice that it will not tolerate price gouging for medical or recreational drugs.
PLASTICS
Plastics are one of the biggest miracles derived from petroleum; another good reason to conserve oil. However, plastics must be controlled. The damage that plastic is doing to the oceans is huge. Plastic lasts virtually forever and is flowing into our oceans every day. The CEN-TECH plan calls for a tax on all plastics that are not used for food or medicine. This tax would be small, but would raise billions of dollars because so much plastic is used in America today.
This fund would finance a large scale experiment in catching trash flowing into the oceans. This experiment would involve many companies around the world. When the best methods are found, this new technology must be used around the world. The second use of this fund would offer huge prizes ($1 Billion) to the scientists who can develop plastics or plastic substitutes that will organically decompose or be easily recycled.
RELIGION
Freedom of religion is part of America. The only restriction on religion is the same one which applies to everyone in America: No violence or threats of violence against a person or their property is allowed.
SEX INDUSTRY
Sex sells. Sex is everywhere in American media and entertainment. To ban sex for money in this atmosphere is almost criminal.
The CEN-TECH party supports the full legalization of sex for money amongst consenting adults. There would be mandatory licensing and health checks. There would be controls in zoning and advertising. This move would cut off the flow of easy money to pimps and gangs. This move would remove sex workers from the tyranny of their pimps and the dangers on the streets. This move would free up money and law enforcement to help on more needed projects.
SOCIALISM
Socialism is the snake oil of politics. The supporters of socialism tell everyone that they can give them just about everything they want for little or no cost. Socialism is a pure fantasy that would truly bankrupt the country.
Throughout history, socialist economies have failed. Socialism is a proven loser in human society. The only “socialist” countries that survive are in fact, dictatorships.
SOCIAL SECURITY
Social Security is a good plan to help retired people live without going on public assistance (welfare). However, Social Security, which started in 1935, needs to be adjusted to reflect longer life spans or it will have to reduce payouts by 20% in 10 years time. Politicians have know this for 25 years and done little or nothing. This is the perfect situation where a small minority party could broker a deal and push through a reasonable solution.
The CEN-TECH party has one position on Social Security. Because workers pay into Social Security up to a limit of $133,000 per year of income, they will not receive payments from Social Security if there post-retirement income is over $133,000 per year.
SUICIDE
The CEN-TECH party believes suicide should not be illegal for adults. Making things illegal drives them into the shadows. America wants suicidal people to come into the light and seek counseling. Making suicide legal, as long as a person attended a number of counseling sessions, would save lives. One important benefit is reducing the danger to innocent bystanders when someone commits suicide. A second very important benefit is to reduce “suicide by cop.” When a police officer has to shoot someone it leaves everlasting scars on that individual. America must do all it can to protect its law enforcement from such unnecessary horror.
TAXES
Taxes are always a contentious point. No one likes paying taxes, but the government must have funds to carry out its duties. Currently, taxes have been lowered and economic activity has increased. The big question is how will this affect the overall income to the government. We won’t know the answer to this question for a year or two. The CEN-TECH party is in favor of keeping lower tax rates as long as the government income remains at or above previous results. The CEN-TECH plan is to spend more wisely, not to raise more revenue.
TECHNOLOGY
Technology is the key tool in letting government achieve its goals at a lower cost. In order to succeed, the technology used must be of the highest quality and installed by America’s top companies. The CEN-TECH party wants to form an alliance with America’s top tech companies so that all the business of government will be made easier and quicker. A police officer ought to be able to use a cell phone to identify someone in the same amount of time it would take to find the nearest fast-food restaurant.
Because of the size of these projects, the government should get a good price from these top companies. The CEN-TECH party believes these companies will show their patriotism by providing the best at the lowest prices.
New technology will allow America to do the things it wants to do at a price it can afford.
VOTING
A free and fair vote is absolutely essential to democracy and freedom. Anything less is in fact a dictatorship.
WALL
The border wall will not be needed because of the new policies on drugs and immigration. There will be little incentive to cross the border illegally. Eventually drones will patrol our borders 24/7.
WELFARE
In a wealthy country it is important for the government to make sure that everyone has food and shelter. The current welfare policy provides mostly cash or equivalent payouts to the poor. This system is plagued by large scale fraud and an inability to provide the intended services. This means it is both costly and ineffective.
Welfare is hard to balance. Too much will make people lazy. Too little will leave them hungry and homeless. The CEN-TECH plan is to phase out cash payments and start providing basic services. Providing services would virtually eliminate fraud and ensure that people are being fed and sheltered.
The first part of the CEN-TECH welfare plan is to build and operate cafeterias in poor areas across the country. These cafeterias would be run by the same large companies that service colleges. Because of the size of its business, the government would expect to pay the lowest prices. In order to streamline the process, all recipients would have to pre-register annually to prove eligibility. This registration would include a BID so that there will be no fraud and all a recipient needs to enter a cafeteria is their face. Visitors could join them by paying a fee at the door. As with the “free clinics” recipients would start to pay a fee as their incomes rise.
This system particularly helps poor children. They will be able to eat good and healthy food every day without their parents if necessary. Childhood obesity is another problem that this policy will help ease. It will keep the kids out of the fast food places that serve large portions of fat, sugar and salt, which leads to childhood obesity. This kind of welfare is also far more valuable to recipients because they save the time and cost of buying and preparing meals.The cafeteria will also bring communities together. Eating together is a bonding experience.
This initial change will be quite expensive. It will take money and manpower from the ending of the “war on drugs” and more. But once the system is up and running and food stamps are discontinued, the cost will be reasonable; and the problem of hunger will be solved.
The second part of welfare is housing the homeless. It is expected that the cafeteria system would save more in the recipients’ budget and therefore ease homelessness to an extent. A relative is more likely to take in a person if they know their food bill is covered.
The CEN-TECH party proposes building dormitories similar to those on college campuses across the country to house those still unable find shelter. This second part of the CEN-TECH welfare plan would build dormitories in the vicinity of the cafeterias, forming a kind of welfare campus. The “Free Clinic” would also be in the vicinity.
The recipients of this benefit would also have to pre-register and get their eligibility checked and receive their BID. Couples and families would be given larger rooms with the same restrictions. Like with the other benefits, they would pay a rising fee as their incomes rose.
In order to maintain safety and to incentivize people to work their way out of the dorms, residents would not be allowed to have visitors, to cook or to make noise in the dorms. There would be no weapons or virtually anything metal. The residents would be required to wear non-removable electronic ID that would gain them access to their building and their room. Anyone entering the wrong building or room would set off an immediate alarm. In order to further insure security, each entrance would have a manned metal detector 24/7 and a uniformed police officer at each location 24/7. This security is expensive but absolutely necessary in order have communities accept dormitories in their area. Once it’s up and running, the dorm is relatively inexpensive to run. One study in L.A. suggested about a $5000 per person per year savings in police and ambulance call-outs for those given a small room.
This change over to providing services will ensure the problems of hunger and homelessness are solved. The funding for this must come from the ending the “war on drugs” and the rewriting of immigration rules. America needs to spend its money wisely.
